  1. yes it did. it is also possible that the vibration was there before, and that the dual mass was able to absorb it, and now with the single flywheel it is now noticeable. I am just waiting for the truck to come back in to tackle it myself. It is an 03 F550 2wd with a service body on the back.
  2. we replaced a dual mass with the single because of broken springs. The problem now is that the customer is complaining of a vibration at 1800-2200 rpm. We have isolated the exhaust/ turbo, replaced the engine mounts ( which did help), but the vibration still exists. I have just been handed this job after approx. 4 months of the general tech with zero training and all the knowledge, not being able to solve anything. The customer has complained to Ford, and now it is my baby. I am going to restart from square 1 with diagnosis, but was wondering if anyone has run into this at all?? Thanks in advance
