  1. If I owned one of these engines I would definitely keep an egt sensor in the glove box...........beside my gloves.
  2. Well, I made out like a bandit at the Christmas party and I wasn't even there. This will be the first Christmas party I have missed in decades. My daughter graduated from college the same day and we had family down from Vermont. Anywho I received the technician of the year award ($300 bucks and a nice eagle plaque) and was awarded most hours turned for the Ford store. I also received another check for the total of a quarter for every hour turned in 2013. All in all it was a nice take and I wasn't expecting anything!!
  3. We just removed the 2 incher from a '12 Sooper Dooty in favor of a 4 incher. And the shocker of it all is that Ford paid for it.
  4. The front frame section is serviceable and is riveted together behind the spring perches. This was always one of Chevrolets competing ads, they would say there frame is complete from front to back and thus stronger.
  5. I'm sort of parts illiterate and so Is my parts department........what would this part be?
  6. I like them both equally but am having trouble warming up to the idea. In a similar fashion there is a place here in town that serves hamburgers wrapped in a Krispy Kreme donut. Again I haven't take the leap.
  7. Very nice, that's too clean to hide away on the engine. Put it in a glass case.
  8. And there is the rub. You can put a paper clip across the fuse and everything would be hunkydory. However if you start overloading the circuit with a dozen extra bulbs and don't modify the circuit with a relay or three, and monkey around (no offense Aaron) with the circuit protection, then where are you? Your calling a tow truck cause your truck wont start and your down for days and out 100's of clams.
  9. My Saturday to work, came in early to get a jump on the day.
  10. Probably has nothing to do with anything, but I am curious what the EOT reaches when concern happens and did the cooling system fill to it's max capacity when everything was changed out?
  11. Ford doesn't pay you to check the oil level any more on PDI, with that kind of process, I doubt anybody would want to check wheel torque.
  12. The wife is not looking forward to tomorrow, as she works at the local mall.
  13. I bet some customers are going to flip out when they are hit with a bill due to low miles but high hours.
  14. I seem to remember a thread on here about the TBC module killing the network.
