Keith you said the oil aerates? This sounds almost like you have a bad gasket on the oil pickup tube in the pan. -

Keith I just seen that listing somewhere, give a few minutes to chase my web history. Keith, I think this is what you want. I seen it in TSB 04-17-13. The way I'm reading it it looks like both connectors come in the kit. 4C3Z12B568AA

Hang tite Keith I'm digging back thru my notes, I'll let you know for sure shortly. According to my notes this adapter cover 6E7Z6881CA should be the winner. Also the gaskets if needed are 3C3Z6619AA and BA.

customer pay coolers
LARRY BRUDZYNSKI replied to dieseldoc's topic in 6.0L Power Stroke® Diesel Engines
I would re-diag it first and then make Your recommendations. Don't rely on someone else if your putting your name and shops name on it. This could back fire and really turn into a pile of shit real quick. Look at it as if you didn't hear that it needed coolers and diag the truck. I think the customer would appreciate it if you do it this way just to make sure it won't need anything else. Just make sure that you are working with a GOOD parts guy that has looked up these parts before and get you everything you need to do the job in a efficient manor. Nothing sucks worse than getting to the end of the job and needing that particular "widget" that they don't have in stock. I would personally rather have to return a few unused parts than not have enough. Just my -
And you wonder why China is becoming such a Global economic powerhouse. I wonder how many other companies are having this done to them without knowledge.... http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/21308650/detail.html

6.4 runs like crap at times
LARRY BRUDZYNSKI replied to GregKneupper's topic in 6.4L Power Stroke® Diesel Engines
First off, problem one 6.4 F series built as a ambulance package. It will continue to have problems due to the fact that when they come screaming in to the hospitals they have to shut down upon parking. Hot shut downs with these and the earlier 6.0's are a killer. Second the fire houses like to let them idle on runs. Killer number 2. Their Diesels they need a load to run at optimal effiency. I'm seing more and more class 8's doing the same and having problems. Only bigger ones, Turbos, Fan clutches and A/C compressors are the big failures. The class 8's have decided to try to quiet them down by insulating the engines and engine compartments more and more, giving no room for ventilation and keeping engine heat under the hoods. Horton was having a hell of a time dealing with it until they came out with their 2 speed conversions on the DM clutches. I have been telling the fleets with these to pull the fender liners out and give them some breathing room. The oe's are putting rubber liners on the hoods and covering the frame rails and closing off any place the heat could come out. Could go on, Sorry about the Hi-Jack but I think you get the idea. 1 the 6.4 runs to hot and needs to be run with a load. 2 ambulances are the wrong application for these engines. -
Dude, got a life yet?

I pulled up the picture from the FAD and was the pedal assy. Don't know if it's a misprint. Doesn't look like it. http://www.dormanproducts.com/documents4rb/2007ss/Acc_Pedal_Pos_Sensors2.pdf

Don't know if it's right or not, haven't had to order one yet but Dorman sells a "tps" part number 699-205. Of course my FAD is out of them but runs @$25.00.

Quote: Looking under the hood for the first time is like finding a stick of dynamite and a bottle of whiskey in your dear-old grandmother's purse; Hey granny can I take the car to the store(Mac's Milk) and get some milk and eggs? Yeah right!!! 16 Injectors if I read that right, thats some (Nothing better to do) retired engineer at work for sure. We got one of those (retired engineers) with a white Ranger powered by a 502 twin turbo'd BBC. Last dyno run was just over 1600HP. Right now he is in the process of punching and stroking a 572ci up to @ 600ci and is looking to get it over 2000HP. I think Aaron seen this one at Autorama.
