  1. I got 3 words for ya. Aluminum cylinder head. Terrible idea. Get back in there and redesign this thing from the ground up!
  2. Hopefully they are reengineering the engine as well, there is way too much plastic on that thing and too many parts on the back.
  3. Post count was 187...police talk for a homicide.
  4. Uh Batmantech........your post count just turned murderous.
  5. Some interesting info. http://www.discoverdef.com/def-equipment/pump-info/ I guess they sell these for small truck owners with plastic fillers. http://www.jmesales.com/product/opw-21gu-mis-filling-prevention-devices,9120,6079.htm
  6. It's actually a good , but crazy ass movie. Hit up the Netflix when your bored and check it out. It's subtitled though.
  7. Yeah, i tried to put a pic up but was having trouble getting it into a jpeg.
  8. I never go less than 25 lb/ft on manifolds.
  9. <snickers> ala Pans Labyrinth monster with his eyeballs In the palms of his hands.
  10. Haha, I prefaced it with engine removed for clarity purposes only. That was one of my very first documents, hard to believe it's been almost 5 years. By the way, welcome aboard Andy. There are a few teachers and trainers on here and it's an all around good place to hang out.
  11. A visual document of what Matt is talking about: hpop cover removal (1).pdf
  12. Just finished up a STC fitting that exploded and sent shrapnel through the lube oil pump.
  13. How do you like that ridiculously tiny oring that seals the end of the reg cap? It's good to have some of those hanging around in parts.
  14. I would do a crankcase pressure test next. If she's above spec, I would suspect one or more bent rods (#8) allowing oil to be pushed into the exhaust and miffing up the DPF.
  15. Damn, I was hopin I would get a rise outa somebody on that one.
  16. Sorry but I aint ridin around the country side for no reason other that to clean my exhaust filter. If it cant clean itself and at the same time kill my fuel mileage whilst I am purposely driving then the engineers should reconsider the whole thing.
  17. Bad thing about the whole job is it went from CP to warranty good will. And my time for customer add ons got lost some where. I was to tired to fight about so I ended up eating the time for that.
  18. I always replace all rubber hoses that come in contact with that sludgy mixture. It clings to the inside of the hoses like glue then drops out later and recirculates thru the system.
  19. Might as well bring back the eye as while your at it.
  20. They all break but not everybody applies. R13S10.pdf
  21. It needs a primary radiator or as the catalog calls it "rear engine cooling".
  22. I'm a little leery of these hours/mileage calculations. I had my first odo discrepancy the other day, the IDS said the truck had 49k on it and the cluster said it had 113k. Truck was all original.
  23. The 6.2 is in the bed.......it runs the air compressor.
