2010 Taurus SHO, got my first turbo failure......turbine wheel seperated from the right hand turbo!

I had a 7.3 a couple of years ago that had a wore out torque converter. Replaced with new and would roast the tires in reverse.

Used to be in the same boat your in, those days are long behind me now. I used to come home for dinner and tuck the kids in to bed and then go right back to the shop til midnight or later and then rinse and repeat. Wrenching has gotten my family through some tough times but workin' like that is tough on the 'ol constitution.

Done a few, they still only have 4 bolts per cylinder although the bolts are a smidge bigger.

I paid $2.97 in South Carolina this weekend. I couldn't believe it dropped below the 3 dollar mark, it was awesome.

If it starts fine after being plugged in, then I wouldn't stray to far from the glow plug system before ruling it out for sure.

Yeah, I just moved to an hour from the coast and we are feeling the wind and rain effects. The last time a hurricane hit NJ (Irene) it caused about 10 billion in damage to Vermont. Glad we aren't there anymore. It's suppose to hit a cold front and become a winter storm. Hope it doesn't put you guys in the dark up there.
