  1. Was actually originally from a slip & fall.... I can blow it out trying to pick up my keys or a bolt I dropped.
  2. Got my MRI results today. I'm pretty depressed. T12-L1 - broad based disc bulge. L1-L2 - minimal disc bulge L2-L3 - broad disc bulge in conjunction with a small annular tear. Flattening of ventral aspect of thecal sac. Bilateral facet arthropathy is present. L3-L4 - disc bulge, with flattening of the ventral aspect of the thecal sac. L4-L5 - (What I like to call the MONEYMAKER) - There is a large central disc protrusion. There is impression upon the ventral aspect of the thecal sac. Relative spinal canal stenosis is noted at this level. There is extrusion of disc material in a caudal direction. Both foramen at this level are narrowed, exiting L4 roots are not compromised. There is bilateral facet and ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. L5-S1 - minimal disc bulge seen So, she's basically fucked from about the middle of my back, to about my waistline. All them big words in the L4-L5 one, basically mean the disc has exploded, is crushing the thecal sac (picture it as the "insulation" to the "wire" that is the spinal cord), there is a degeneration of all the tissue, and the disc has basically collapsed on itself. *sigh*
  3. I like the people that call, as discussed in another thread, wanting to know a labor time for something. I told a guy a GOOD mechanic could do a 6.0 front cover in an E-series in about 3 hours.
  4. I'm gonna rake 'em into a big ass pile, dump the stale lawnmower gasoline on it, and WOOSH.
  5. Porter says to you "Well, DUH - I ALREADY GOT THAT SIDE!"
  6. Correct you are....but standards are inversely proportional to level of intoxication
  7. But I'm doing it anyway. I recently joined the monkey house. AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaand here's how I beat up on the morons over there: To quote Denis Leary...I'm an asshole, and I'm PROUD OF IT.
  8. "Hold still, this'll only take a second." "Beauty is only a lightswitch away" Two paper bags. One for you, and one for her, in case hers falls off.
  9. Keep that shit quiet, Bruce! Where does a fellow look into getting some of those machines? I got a den that needs an ol' Pac Man machine or something over in the corner. Secretly, I just want the power of feeding the same quarter through the machine 5000 times with the coin door open, after all that money I spent at the arcade as a youngster.
  10. Onion on your belt, yadda. Rodney Carrington: "How many of you guys got drunk gone home with a fat girl?" "Shut up she's sittin right next to me!" OR "Some of you doin' it right now, you just don't know it yet!"
  11. Global warming, my brotha ROFL I fought the lawn, and the lawn won...was hoping the cut I did a couple weeks ago was gonna handle it, but apparently I'm gonna need to give 'er another go this week

I quit like 5 years ago. Picked it back up at the diamond mine to help deal with being alone. If you weren't smoking, you were sitting in your room. So when you smoked you were in the smoking lounge and things were friendly. About 3 months ago I said to myself "Hey stupid, shit shit causes CANCER AND YOU WILL DIE AND YOU STINK ALL THE TIME!" and that was it. Keep this quiet though, I kinda neglected to mention it to the Missus.
  13. Do you guys think by 2015 the cars will fly like in Back to the Future?
  14. AB not BA, fucked that one up. I don't even look at the part number anymore, I just walk into parts, drop the old one on the counter, grab a new one from my "special shelf of diesel shit" and write the RO number on the box. LOL
  15. And WTF is WILLIS talkin about? 7 screw FICM? Isn't a FICM a FICM a FICM? 4C3Z 12B599 somethinsomethinRM (depending on LEVEL, but every one I have changed has been a 4C3Z 12B599 AARM or BARM, and they are the same as far as I have seen, just an updated part number.
  16. Obviously the DC DC converter portion is on the RH side. Has me wondering though, if you were to remove that portion of the FICM and relocate it with a length of cable and put it somewhere cool, kind of like a PMD relocate on a GM 6.5 with the DS-4 pump - would it live a little longer? I am thinking that heat is killing these things, since I do see a LOT more failures in the summertime than I do in the cooler weather, but that's just my theory on the whole thing. And electronic parts do seem to have a shorter lifespan when they're hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut.
  17. I thought I already posted these pictures here... I would think that, if all those solder joints are bad, what's saying there aren't several dozen others are questionable? I can see replacing the DC/DC converter assembly, board and all, but I personally wouldn't be comfortable soldering stuff that small - not to mention the fact that I'm not buying a semiconductor sized soldering iron to fix this stuff. What happens if you screw up soldering something or you hit the wrong spot, or the solder bridges something it shouldn't - what's Ford gonna say about that? I don't think (at least I am hoping) that we never have to start resurrecting these things too. For crying out loud, the tag in the Garret turbo box says "DO NOT DISASSEMBLE OR DISORIENT TURBOCHARGER HOUSING" but we're doing that anyway, so I'm sure that eventually it'll come down the pipe.
  18. So the DC-DC inverters never fail, just solder joints? Bulllllll shiiiiiiiiiiit
  19. I remembered the damn pressure for the longest time with the wrecked IPR. 2....60 something? I had a run of bagged IPR's for awhile and I had the number written down somewhere - and now I can't remember it. EVERY one had the same ICP reading.
