  1. Not much info for us just the typical......." improvements to scr and update emission guidelines."
  2. Well they made a great choice in selecting you! Congratulation Tony.
  3. I made one out of a broken cooling system pressure tester that was in the garbage.
  4. The guys are right ,No problems with those chains.
  5. I too use that old light everyday, there like $12.00 So I don't feel bad when it gets destroyed. 8WA sman IF those rotors still don't budge just pull out the axle shaft lugs down on ground and hit the rotor off. Been doing tons of rear axle bearings lately and every rotor is rusted on...love the road salt.
  6. Wow! Thank goodness that everyone is fine.
  7. Got a 14 f-350 13,900 miles 6.7 is wet oily at bottom half of the trans bell housing rear oil pan area. Top of engine valley is perfectly dry front to back. Sides of block dry. Done a few different leaks on these but not like this. Just wondering If anyone had an experience with this before this comes back and I start tearing it down. Even with dye you can't tell where it is coming from. I suspect I will pull the trans and see what it looks like. Rear main, rear cover, rear of pan gasket?
  8. Did 2 black cam sensor last week it's been awhile...
  9. That just changed, I wonder where the first lawsuit will be?
  10. Tony your way to much of a nice guy. They really should pay all.
  11. Sorry to hear that. I will say a prayer for him. I never met him in person but he did have an impact on how I think about things. At work and in life in general.
  12. Buddy_m thats fast removal 2 minutes a stud. I never have any luck just building up a nub. The ones I see are very hard to turn out even with a nut, they turn out hard all the way. Maybe it has something to do with how deep they are in the head and how much rust has built up.
  13. Just finished a e-450 v-10 yesterday 10 broken deep in threads. Used our cheap mig no gas got a few out. Had to get a local welder to bring in his tig welder to do the ones behind the spring towers.I could not get ours in there was just to big.
  14. Well at least they wrecked it good. No patching that together.
  15. Well this one is back temp gauge way up only when loaded. Going to try and get guy to bring it in with the trailer.
  16. The last head gasket job I did the degas bottle had blown out, it was almost round.
  17. I did notice the chain material is different than previous engines.
  18. Could that turbo sticking, which it was, be causing the loaded overheat? I can not duplicate it now since the turbo was repaired.
  19. P0016 in the next stall tsb 14-0194 took a pic of the new and old chains hanging from a screwdriver. The tsb and hotline makes no reference on how to easily verify the stretched with chain in place, anyone know? Other than putting the cam holders in place.
  20. 2005 F-550 71,000 miles wrench light on at times, overheats under load. P0069 map correlation, p0234 over boost p0299 under boost. When wrench light on no power cycle key then works fine. Found unison ring rusted slot very worn. But also found the vane tips damaged. I realize I have two problems but just wondering what your thoughts are on this turbo.
  21. Just finished 2013 Taurus SHO 3.5 No oil change 27,000 miles, engine warranty cancelled at another dealer. Customer bought at auction not running. Original oil filter, got it to start, pumping oil into exhaust, both turbo impellers almost fell out of the housing. Loud bearing knock. Installed a used engine from a smashed up police Taurus.
  22. I remember doing a probe with one of those light out lamps on the overhead counsel. It would always show a bulb out, but all bulbs worked. We found the 3rd brake lights had the wrong part number bulb installed.
