  1. FSA 15S34 (canister purge vales) applies to 2010 and 2011 Fusion and Milan. I would bet the part is very similar.
  2. How do you know which ones you got wrong this month? They don't release the answers until the next month right?
  3. Motorcraft announcement New 2017 6.7 diesel filters FD-4624 FA-1927 FA-1928
  4. That trans question is the one that I think got me too. Too tight too loose---Remember its the "Best Ford answer" !
  5. Two fun ones in a row, 2005 F-150 no start another shop installed a fuel Pump relay mod, They forgot to snap the connector on the module. Guy made it far enough to get a tow truck to pull it here. 2016 6.7 guy had another shop install a triton oversized fuel tank. He made it far enough to get towed here as a no start. Fuel line at top of tank off was not snapped or locked on tank fittings. Another good on 6.4 Doing a high pressure pump. Looked inside one lifter lobe on cam almost gone. Roller on tip of lifter gone. Turns out guy just bought it. He was telling us how he could not believe he bought this 6.4 with 200,000 miles cheaper than a 6.0. I think he knows now why that is.
  6. In the same week we get this, There is something wrong with my truck it doesn't smoke black when I floor it. (It's a 6.7 just bought, had a 7.3 with a programmer etc.previously) There is something wrong with my truck it has a little puff of black smoke when I floor it. (It's a 6.0 with 200,000 )
  7. It's so strange that I almost believe it's correct.
  8. Although I do not think this is your issue , we have seen the steering shaft u-joint become tight. What are the odds your reman pump is faulty?
  9. How are you claiming M-time when preforming a tsb? Matt and Morris you guys stated that you have had no problems doing it. Are you guys adding a line to the ro for the m-time?
  10. It does seem to be the default response from hotline on every 3.5 that has any drive ability concern. The last one I had was a no power only code p0016. The other ones had only check engine lights, drove fine. One had p0016 along with some vct codes. All fixed with new primary chain.
  11. Oh Matt you missed it. Then you never worked on a 4x4 tempo...or tempo diesel either.
  12. Zach you are correct. R & R 2.8 plus diag. that's it.
  13. Same issue here on f-150's just ended up using lock tight and old nut
  14. I am going to throw this out for the 450 550 failure pattern. The last bearing failure 6.7 was a F-350 regular cab. It is a commercial truck that does nothing but tow a very large hog trailer.
  15. Doing a 11 f-550 just out of warranty broken valves/ no start.
  16. Aparise72 Nice find on your concern! To answer your question on timing. Remember these engines use the length of the chain to determine timing. Anything that affects that like a broken guide will change timing slightly. Those pictures in the shop man. of mark location are very subjective. Unlike an engine that has marks on the head or block. Tyler Thanks for the Pictures!!
  17. Yukon Tyler, Do you have a picture of the oil press adaptor that you made? I thought there was one here somewhere but be nice to see it before I make one.
  18. You guys still digging out? Web site has been pretty quiet...
  19. It might be in a good idea to look ahead in the prior approval process to find out what pictures they want. The last 6.7 required none, (but that one had a huge hole in the pan and rods missing) The last 5.0 they wanted three pictures not very specific seemed more like they want to see that it was actually torn down. One pic required was of the oil filter.
  20. Got another one 2012 f-150 with 109,000 tons of idle hours (road construction truck). Misses , cylinder leakage is 80% or more on the missing holes. cylinder #4 worst, all leaking into crankcase.
  21. The pinion pounded right out. The hanger bearing was destroyed also. (Tony, got the bearing kit from zumbrota bearing and gear.) ZBAG
  22. Customer states bearing on rear drive shaft went out. Ya think!
  23. I have installed a few new engine assemblies lately 6.7, 5.0 and have been eyeballing those engine lifting brackets. If a pair of those happened to disappear and not get sent back with the core would they notice? Will the core get charged back?
