i changed some settings and got fmcdealer to work, still trying to get mitchell on demand to work

win 7 home premimum 64 bit with ie8, must be something in my settings somewhere not allowing it

Got a new laptop for xmas with windows 7 old one was vista, now i cannot access fmc dealer from my laptop, can access on any other computer in shop without a problem, also having the same problem logging into mitchell on demand with windows 7. Has anyone ran into this and is there a fix for it?

Never have,I have pulled around 50 or so broken plugs, takes about 10 minutes per plug on most of em

Have had that tool for a while now, not sure what i would do without it, you can push the pin down with porcelain also, saves a bunch of time, we get .5 extra for every broken plug

put heads back this morning, turning engine over by hand felt a push rod bend, still had valve covers off, put a new pushrod in turned engine over engine locked up tight, pull new push rod out, engine turns over fine, start looking new pushrod is 3/8 in longer at least, go into parts thats the only pushrod listed, luckily green sales is in town and has old number, why the hell would ford update a part number with a pushrod thats too long

at least you get beer, but on the bright side they fired my service manager 3 weeks ago and my average hours jumped 15 a week. side note, talking to new service manager yesterday says i quit drinkn in 1978, i look at him and said i wasnt born til 1980 your old!!! i love beer and a sober service manager

jacking the trans up worked like a charm

i kinda remember reading something a while back about taking the trans mount loose and jacking the rear of engine up, ill guess ill find out shortly

I usually pull cab for head gaskets but cant on this one,can you install head studs with the body on?

Trans is rated for 1200 ft lbs is what they told us in kentucky, the thing is a monster,goona drive heavy duty trans jacks sales up, not many jacks in dealers now are going to be able to hold it.It has the sae bellhousing on it

i looked also nothing on the 6.0 maybe just a Canada thing?
