  1. Put a kit on last, no start, had to replace valve, this shit drives me nuts, warrarnty paid claim without a problem, but i only got paid once to do valve.
  2. link to picture of 6.2 cyl. head http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/photo.php?pid=109824&id=100000214292705
  3. That sucks you didnt get to hear it run, it is very quiet. How do you think it will be to work on? I dont think it will be to bad, the biggest pain is going to be the turbo inlet pipe from the pass. side head. The 6.2 is badass, they were roasting the tires on one when i was at the truck plant, they had one tore down in our classroom its a monster.
  4. My web class and the 6.7 classroom from november showed up today in stars, it was a neat thing to be apart of but ive forgot all the shit i learned, so i get to do it all again
  5. 113 degrees is the water temp going into the cooler, 5 psi on the secondary system
  6. The 6.7 web class is up,lots of info to take in,its neat to see the changes in it from when i took it in november to now, they took alot of our suggestions and put them in the test.
  7. Turbo was most probally froze up,had the k&n filter,4 inch exhaust,so im sure it had a aftermarket tune in it,i guess it will become someone eles problem heading to the auction, that truck is the second one ive seen with that much boost, both were early 04s first blew the side of tank off the intercooler
  8. What is the most boost you guys have seen, drove an 03 today that hit 39 psi, ran like no other truck ive ever drove, it was a trade in over the weekend, open hood and antifreeze was puking everywhere, the look on the used car managers face was priceless when i told him about it, serves the stupid fuckers rite.
  9. I seen some F550 cab and chassis at the plant in november
  10. When i was in louisville, they had a 6.7 with no egr and dpf going to mexico, said it ran like hell, so someone asked about high sulfur fuel and it works great on trucks with no dpf, if you run it in a truck with a dpf they try to regen pretty often
  11. IDS 64, when i was in indy in sept for traing curt said there was a big problem, ids wouldnt talk to the 6.7, so when we got to louisville in november they had it talking but some functions wouldnt work, pids missing but it should be ready to go march 8th, glad my 6.7 is training is already done
  12. sitting on the couch watching deadliest catch, new owners figured we needed today off, that was nice of em
  13. it seems all of my repairs are above national average ,put a wiring harness in a while ago 8 hours mtime, got sent sent back for 325% over average, id like to kick the warranty gods in the balls
  14. when you shut the truck off it sucks all the urea back into the tank and heats it there, i have my training book at work ill check it out tomorrow, by the time this engine gets here im going to have to retake the classroom to remember everything i learned in training
  15. tried tweaking the branch tube once, made it 2 miles on the test drive and quit running, so now if there bent they get replaced, dont mind doing them now
  16. They told us classroom should start march 1st, web based traing jan 1st
  17. my parts department is having trouble finding part # any help thanks
  18. How many injectors are you guys trying to replace, i got approval for 1 injector yesterday and never had any questions like that, sent request in 10 minutes later i had approval
  19. From what I seen the 6.7 should be cake to work on compared to the 6.4 except for the primary water pump and oil pump, both made into front cover as an assembly. Diag will be a little harder with a shitload of new pids to learn.
  20. It is real easy to open, i cracked it open on our training truck, but when the oil cooler goes bad the pan is easy to get off to gain access to nut on the inside of the upper pan for oil cooler removal
  21. Thank you the class was great, except for Curt stinking the class up lol, Ford has a winner with this engine. Ill post some more later just got home from the truck plant.
  22. enviromental tempature sensor, vgt or vnt just what ever they felt like at the time, reductant level, diesel exhaust fluid,im sure there is more i forgot my head is still spinning kind of on information overload
