  1. Quote: Dealerships like mine are under constant scrutiny by the Ford Warranty Auditors and these asshole dealerships look great because they do not have the brain capacity to figure out how to get more money by doing the job properly. And the almighty question arises???? How many of these dealers have trucks being towed into your shop, after they do the half-assed fix and want nothing more to do with it???? And Ford(Mother) looks at you guys with a shitty tude???? For what doing the job the way (Mother) wanted to begin with or maybe (Mother) should charge them back for the FUCKED-UP repair not done as Ford has printed in the S/M's for us to follow the Diags????
  2. Nah, it's probably a big snot sucker that we used to clean out our kids noses when they get stuffed up, or when the kids make a mess and stuff mashed potatoes up there. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/stooges.gif
  3. Well....The White jackets have seen that there are no trans lines to worry about on the M/T. It's just the trans mount, and additional setup for the picker that I see becoming the .8, What's with the lack of time I don't know but when it's on the ground or stand do you get SLTS for the seperation? Or is that for free??? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/scratchhead.gif I guess you have to have a better story for the eggheads that are putting the claim in to fight for you on your times. Just make sure it's documented VERY VERY well. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/flamethrower.gif Quote: 2006 F-350 6.0. R&R engine assembly Automatic, 12.0h. R&R engine assembly manual trans, 12.8h. R&R Manual Trans 2.0H On second thought could you be getting the 12.8 for the two together and if storied right get another 2.0 for seperation?

  9. Didn't catch the first round of posts, but most manufacturers know a days stamp a number in the gaskets, I can help if you come across that.
  10. On a more serious note.... Back in the day....Jim remembers this, we had some of the lower hoses sucking in. The answer the manufacturers had was to install a spring in the lowers to solve the hose suction we were encountering. Maybe this could be a answer but I think the smaller hose needs to be a spring reinforced hose encapsulated in the rubber. many manufacturers already make it, just a little pricey to get. You need to fix the original problem before taking steps to reinforce the hoses, to correct this problem.
  11. Yep, his own truck, and I'm sure he has more goodies on it than a normal man can afford. Haven't seen it yet but wants the whole hook up of A/M parts. He just scheduled it to have the install with our repair side. I'll be watching for it and have a camera ready just in case, be kind of cool to watch the upfit done on it, see what has to be done to make it work. If and when he does show up I have the approval of my shop manager to take pics of the upfit. Still it bothers me, This is stuff that shouldn't be done unless he understands that there will be no factory warranty on the truck. Hmmmm....Should I get the vin and post it here for one of you. Maybe give mother a heads up for the claims to come.
  12. You win a Bozo button http://www.esnarf.com/2213k.htm No just kidding, LOL, Good call. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rockon.gif
  13. Crooked is crooked, they all need to pay. We have a Mayor here in Detroit that is so arrogant that he thinks he is going to get away with perjury. Check this out if you care to...Sorry about hijacking the thread but this may interest some of you. It's a little lengthy but not as long winded as Jim. http://www.clickondetroit.com/video/15694292/index.html

  18. Quote: I just hate sitting around doing nothing. I would rather have a project than no project at all. Your from Fargo right??? Sounds to me like you guys need Nascar to come up in your neck of the woods!!! No really, just keep your shit together and make the time to make it right. If nothing else you will be the better person for it. The dealer you go that far for this service... Maybe you should apply for a position. I work 60+ miles from home but I am very happy doing it.
  19. Okay guys update.... Diamond Eye exhaust, we have a DPF back kit avail. in Aluminized and Stainless. Also Superchip has a kit out too. Had a engineer from Ford call today inquiring about a DPF delete exhaust kit /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif It pisses me off that I see this from somebody from Ford, let alone a engineer. My shop sells this crap but If I get the call I have to take it, what do I do to keep my sanity with this even though I don't believe in deleting emissions equip.???? As well as the legal aspect of it??? We sell this stuff and I understand it's for off road vehicles only...But I know that it's going to be put on a daily driver...???? Any suggestions???? Hate to see somebody mis-informed of the outcome from these companies that sell it, and don't sell it as a OFF-ROAD option only. In other words no WARRANTY!!!!!
  20. Jim I feel for you, but you have been working on that floor seems like weeks now. Quote: Just to add some drama... and because it is very late, my floor still isn't finished and tomorrow is going to be a f#ckshow By the way how did the f#ckshow go today? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
