  1. Hey guys Tony was pretty involved yesterday with this. I haven't seen him log back in. Have any of you dealt with him or is he a fly by? I worked my ass off to get the right answer for him, it would be nice to have a answer if this is what he was looking for. WTF I already know this is it, and by the way thanks Keith again!!!!
  2. Just some trivia for all of us to absorb. Rudolf Christian Karl Diesel, born March 18,1858. Invented the Diesel engine in 1892. Fell to his death off the side of a Mail Steamer, Sept. 30,1913 at age 55. Happy Birthday to Rudolf Diesel, without his discovery/invention we wouldn't be here doing what we do.
  3. But it looks good doesn't it, ahhh just fix it for free. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banghead.gif

  6. Boy oh Boy Aaron, Your making Jim feel really old now.
  7. For $400.00 I would say run it until blows, a injection pump is almost more than you payed don't even think about it.
  8. Quote: there is a 8D deepcycle marine battery on the bottom, wired to an inverter. i have a trickle charger wired up also for night charging twice a week. that battery will run the inverter on full tilt for two full days of work. All you need now is a BBQ mounted on one side of your toolbox, and a Fridge on the other with a Plasma HDTV on top. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif I haven't seen the Mac but have heard my share of horror stories about Vista. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif
  9. Tony I just had a local dealer pull the 6A810 and he opened it up, it has the cooler the cover and all of the orings and seals in it. As for the Dodge, no not yet, just rented a F150 for the weekend. They are both nice trucks but haven't made up my mind yet.
  10. Okay I think I found what you need, The upper is a 6E7Z6881CA. The lower is calling it a Oil cooler cover kit 6E7Z6A810AB. I am checking to see what all comes in it.
  11. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/scratchhead.gifUpper and Lower????I'm looking at the breakdown and this cooler sits in the valley, are you needing upper cover?
  12. Bruce cool avatar, but I think you should have seperate course for your best buddies here on the DTS. Maybe in Detroit...I would pay for this if you did, and I'm sure some guys from work would get in too.
  13. We were just talking about the EPA and us in the chat room.
  14. Just a little tidbit of info that might help in getting/ordering correct parts on vehicles that have been upfitted with a belt driven PTO. There are quite a few parts that have been changed and will be different when the truck comes in. My suggestion to you guys when you open up the hood, take a look at the setup first. Anything that has a lift, hydraulics, or any other pumps on the truck will require a PTO. It will probably be upfitted with a A/M PTO and have different parts on it. A good sign of this would be a double Serpentine belt system. I'm going off of memory on this one,add on as needed, please. 2nd belt, tensioner, brackets, pass.side cac tube and hoses. The correct way to get the right parts are as follows.... Get the tag off of the body, serial number and possibly the model number. Contact the builder for BOM's. There are also numbers on the belt, pump, and other parts that WILL be helpful to get the right part. Kill the parts dept. with info, it will make life much easier.
  15. Yeah, gray, purple, pink whatever color suits them again. Gey second thought here we could really start a rumor with this one.... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif
  16. That's as bad as Cummins Rapidserve, you have to call them for approval for just about everything.
  17. Quote: I have a one gallon metal gas can I bought back when Christ was a cowboy.... Wait a second, two points here... Your in Canuckia you don't have GALLON cans,Liter-Litre make up your minds on how to spell it. And we all know that Christ was never a cowboy....

  21. Just about everybody out there has increased Warranty claims that (MOTHER) Ford looks at so closely, So here's the big question, Will the 1st round of recalls on the CMP turn into round 2 or 3 before they get it right? When will Ford stop penny pinching and just get good quality vendors, to build good quality products?????
  22. Just so long as it's not as cocky as the gentleman who is not with us anymore.
  23. Not at work right now..What's the part # I can probably find one on this side of the creek for you.
