Sounds like a good candidate for an engine wiring harness which are prone to fail more on the E-boxes.

Every 6.4 I have ran across with blue smoke ended up being a bent rod (#2 or #8 esp.) or more than 1 due to sucking in unmetered fuel. It's really hard to catch when they have DPF's on them cause the mask the problem. Since this one has been deleted it might be useful to do a manual compression test just to see where the engine is at and have a look in the bottom cac hose for lots-o-oil.

Speaking of lube, I see you keep the Vaseline at arms reach.

Today, I Ran into a bedplate that had been resealed previously. I was trying to bolt the starter onto the engine and it would not sit square. There was a gigantic gob of silicone hanging out of the bedplate to block to rear cover joint.

I was way off, I though it was a pewter cupcake for a Monopoly set.

Half the 6.4's in our area with aftermarket air filters set a P2002.

I am leaning towards a rusted cam sensor pad. It can be proved out with a visual and or a lab scope. You guys get rusty stuff down in PA?
