  2. Don't you have homework to do or somethin?
  3. I wouldn't put my head anywhere near the left side of that bad boy, good way to lose a toupee. That was one of the coolest staging setups I've seen in a while.
  4. I am a fan, been listening to alternative music since the early 90's. These guys are damn good, and holy fuck.......almost 92 million views with 850,000 likes. That's incredible!!!!!!!!!!
  5. That's one hell of a test drive, going into New York, you are dedicated.
  6. Worked with one who was an oil changer. The dealer let her go due to not being able to physically perform the daily job requirements.
  7. Sooooooo, your ok with the Mr Hewitt comment?
  8. Gosh dangit, that's genius. Can't wait for another rad to blow out so I can try it that way.
  9. Cool, nice find. We rip the cabs off one-fiddys to do valve stem seals!
  10. This one ended up being a regen issue. The thing is a "trophy truck" and gets short tripped pretty bad.
  11. Biggest time consumer on my end is filling the damn things.
  12. Not sure what is going on at the moment, but 5 PSI is pretty darn low for a normally operating cooling system.
  13. Quote: Customer states guages goes up pegs hot under load only. Load the truck and drive while monitoring the EOT pid. Anything above 200 degrees would be something to keep an eye out for and if it hits 240 degrees, it's time to pull over. Ford gages aren't very useful in something like this. Visual ok rad. clean inside and out. Eot ect within 5 deg. Coolant full no leaks hold vac with rad kit. head gasket ok system press. very min. No codes. Check fan works ok when commanded up. Customer did wash rad, condenser and put in new stat. Make sure the t-stat is a Ford unit and not a Stant or Gates or something like that. I pulled the water pump seems ok tight on shaft. My question is the front cover has pitting inside pump area, and a 2-3 deep wear area at the bottom part of pump hole. Could this be my overhet problem. I wouldn't bother with that cover for the time being. I would say there are other issues at the moment. I really dont have anything to compare it to. Any thoughts are appreciated, Thanks (I did post a pic to the photo post, page but I do not know how to put it on here) I sent you a PM on picture posting.
  14. Your good to go Mr. Hewitt.....the spacer is for install purposes only. I have one floating around in my tool box.
  15. Gotta question about adding dye to the fuel system for a oil growing concern. How much dye are you guys adding to the fuel filter housing to make it worth doing? How are you running the engine afterwards, idle, fast idle, driving down the road? How long have you had to wait to see results with a black lite? Thank you for any input.
  16. Speaking of a bunch of trucks in the shop; I get a kick out of salesmen parading customers through the shop. We had 3 cabs off with the motors gutted all to hell the other day and a guy walked through that had just bought a used 6.4 liter. He wasn't very confident in his choice after that.
  17. Quote: Even easier when you have a guy you can call in that can get the broken bolts out with the manifold still installed! Please tell me your not talking about the guy in your avitar.
  18. "what are you driving?" "A Ford" "Ah", <mumbles> that narrows it down.
