  1. I have had good luck with amazon and free shipping. Always less then a week depending on what and when I order. the lcd is a must for these especially for the H2 as there are more options to go through

  4. So what about getting the nipple separate? I have a rail with dicked up nipples that keep blowing out the o-rings on the injector. The rail is on backorder for 2.5months which is total bs to expect to wait that long for a part! Its a fleet vehicle and I can not have it out of service for that long
  5. yeah they are sweet. I plan to buy the hero 2 The only issue I dont like is the fish eye look, however the hero 2 lets you choose your field of view and can reduce it so its really not a issue. Also the mounts/cases have a habit of causing "rattle" in the audio depending on how its mounted/used also check out the contour roam camera system
  6. Running the same setup and have no issues. IE9 gives me some trouble however but typically only on the WSM

    What a joke...and they wonder why people buy the aftermarket delete kits and programmers to remove the dpf function. All that would be cheaper then having to buy a replacement DPF from ford. I know I have covered DPFs upwards of 95k before but never on a 09-10 MY
  8. They where a decent setup for what it was. Just very problematic and sloooooow. I remember putting my fist through the screen of one once....true story

    More everyday with ford and I have to say Im disappointed. I have found alot of seals, electrical connector kits, and even fluid coolers being china made now If I have a choice I avoid china made if at all possible. China is smart, they have us by the balls but thats another topic all together
  12. I thought I had it setup to prompt for a update first...The kicker was I was not even on the internet as I use a 4G air card since I am all over the place with my computer. I check it again...so wish I could have made my macbook work for IDS. Jim, yeah I laugh with the newest generations of sync getting more complicated. Hell I still remember the first time I had to reprogram one, I had several WTF moments during that experience. I have family and friends with it that dont even use it as its too complicated for them to figure out or they get pissed its not working like they would expect

  15. I have done a couple 6.7s programs on 76.03 without issue. Well I take that back. My windows decided it was more important to restart the computer mid calibration for a Fn "windows update" I didnt even get a chance to tell it to restart later. Thank god IDS pulled back the pcm from the pits of hell of a blank module. Have I every mentioned how much I hate windows???

  17. For CA emissions the 6.7 is clean enough with the DEF that it does not require the use of a idle timer any longer.... I am looking out for longevity of the engine along with added maintenance and fuel costs rather then the emissions output. You would think FMCO would encourage the ability to use this feature but stranger things have come out of their heads
  18. yes of course..... It kicks me out and tells me nothing has been changed so programming can not be completed I did find the enable instructions in the WSM which is the same as the 6.4 however I have had no luck getting it to take. It seems my truck is missing the CDIM module that might be the trick to making this whole thing work. From my research today it is a option that can be ordered when built but I do not know if its something that can be added after the fact. I hope its not like the cruise control on these trucks which can not be added after the vehicle is built like in years past. I hope that is not the case as I have at least 4-5 trucks I want to enable this feature on. I am having my connections do a hotline report for me tomorrow just for the hell of it. Ill give my FSE a ring to see what else I can dig up.
  19. Its a 2011 F550 thats about a year old or so now. I think the GVW was anything over 10k lbs in california was required to have the 5min shutdown My thoughts would be the same on if its in the menu and a disable there would be an enable selection. When I get the truck back today I am going to try and update the PCM/TCM calibration as Im sure its never been done and mess with it some more. Ill take a screen shot so you can see what Im looking at. Im on IDS version 76.03
  20. Remember the 6.4 Engine Idle shutdown timer? Q-169-R3 ? If enabled after 5min of idle time it would shut the engine down? Well I would like to enable this on our 6.7s in the fleet. I have one truck here locally that needs it. It has never had the engine oil changed with 6500 miles and 1250 engine hours with over 950 idle hours! The driver is sitting in a yard running the truck all day for no reason other to run the heat or a/c. I need to prevent this if at all possible and if I can enable a idle timer that would be the best bet. I have not found any bulletins on the 6.7 that pertain to enabling this feature. I have found a menu in IDS for this but it only lists a disable function which is obviously selected. There is no "Enable" selection. Any input?
  21. I was asked to price labor on one of these before leaving the dealer. I took one look at the vmac instructions and when WTF. We ran through the modification and concerns with the customer if they installed one on their brand new 6.7 and it changed their mind. thank god I didnt get stuck installing that beast!
  22. damn, my favorite was the one I had the turbine spin off and end up stuck in the dp so bad we had to replace it
  23. The batterys in that those things do more damage to the environment being manufactured then the car will save in its entire life on the road.
  24. good running condition for now you mean?. I would put money on it coming back for injectors after a couple weeks of driving. That had to have some serious miles to look like that and after the owner/jiffy lube busted the shit out of the cap everyone just turned the blind eye.
