  1. Rather than spend all that time with up/down, laying over top of the engine, etc. - I'd pull the engine, myself.
  2. He might have a real mad look on his face.
  3. I had a paramedic get SUPER pissed at me when I said I wanted to be an ambulance driver. I said I didn't want to attend to patients, I'd just be the wheelman. Still mad.

Only on her birthday, then? LOL
  5. Holy shit, this is a good piece of information to know.

I think maybe I am trying too hard. I went out with a buddy of mine for pizza and a cruise (read: to look at all the Halloween costumes down in the bar area of town, know what I'm sayin?) any how. Got home at 3am. Fell asleep around 3:30. Woke up at 7:30. Felt great. Not tired all day. WTF? (No booze either)
  7. That is possibly the best thing I've ever read.
  8. Dem be called "leave outs"
  9. Oct 25 2013 4232 -2013 C-MAX / 2013-2014 Fusion and MKZ Hybrid/Energi - Powertrain Clunk/Whine - Bonus Bolt In Engine Mount Some 2013 C-MAX and 2013-2014 Fusion and MKZ Hybrid/Energi vehicles may exhibit a tactile vibration or clunking/thumping noise when braking or when tipping in or out of the throttle, or a powertrain/transaxle whine primarily when braking. This may be caused by a foreign object such as a nut or bolt lodged in one of the powertrain mounts causing a ground out condition to the body - either the RH engine mount or the LH transmission mount. To access the LH engine transmission mount, remove the 7B012 Secondary On Board Diagnostic Module (SOBDMC) and the upper half of the mount in order to inspect for this foreign object and possible grounding condition. The choice of words made me chuckle.
  10. I already told you guys. I was licking the windows because they were made with recycled liquor bottles and the LCBO store was closed!
  11. Hopefully you're all sitting down for this big news: No reply from the member of parliament. Probably busy figuring out what expenses they can sham the taxpayers out of next.
  12. Agreed on the annual. at the very least, everything that is actually used as commercial, like fucking taxicabs!
  13. You'd be surprised... I've seen more done with less.
  14. So, this bonehead MPP in Ontario wants to eliminate emissions testing in Ontario. http://montemcnaughtonmpp.ca/2013/10/18/mcnaughton-continues-to-stand-up-for-ontario-drivers/ I sent him the following. What do you guys think? I don't think even from the standpoint that HUNDREDS of shops have purchased all the shit required to do the testing... The government is going to be held accountable to reimburse these folks, I'd bet.
  15. It's cold, below 150 degrees or so, when it's doing this? Once it heats up, the smoke goes away? This appears to be a normal condition on most/all deleted trucks, regardless of calibration or calibration author.
  16. Flag it as stolen/salvage in OASIS. Even then, I think there's a 30-day window to get something fixed to have that removed if it's fixed.
  17. FWIW, and for how long it takes, I'd yank the engine. That way you know there's no chance for a screwup, leak, etc, and you aren't beating yourself to death doing it. I'm kind of a large lad, so I try and avoid any fucking around in vans if at all possible. I have seen a guy do it in a van, but I'm not sure how he installed them. Like Matt said, does it need an oil pan/dipstick tube insert?
  18. Ahhhhhhhhhh! Fuck. What a waste of a nice machine. I too find the IDS angle interesting.
