  2. Customer found a t body at a salvage yard so I ended up replacing it on this truck.
  3. I will probably be buying one. I currently have a 2010 V10 and wasn't sure what to get next. I have short trip for work and don't pull constantly to justify the diesel. I burn wood pellets for heat so hauling a ton very regularly. Pull camper occasionally. Farm besides working at Ford so pull trailer with skid loader or hay frequently. Along with pulling cattle trailer. So I am in market for big gas engine in a one to truck
  4. Is the truck stock or modified? Either way I would pay close attention to the dpf pressure sensor and wiring. If you follow the gsb I am pretty sure the dpf pressure shares vref with crank and cam sensors.
  5. Yeah, that's what I did. I was hoping someone already had made one. Job isn't sold yet but I will keep track of what I use and make a part list.
  6. Thanks I was hoping to here from someone that had done it before
  7. If I remember correctly there are 2 temp sensors one for pcm and one for gauge and it's wrong in parts catalog. What part number did u get?
  8. I have ran into this before it's the wrong sensor. I don't remember how I went about getting the correct one though sorry I am no help with that.
  9. Had a chevy ambulance in earlier this week. Def fault on dash had heater code went to replace the def heater look at this fuel pump prescreen. I see why they were looking for new place to service there vehicles. Side note replacing the def heater was identical to the Ford ones I do all the time. The GM kit came with new lock ring and a vent.
  10. Didn't think of that! I will have to look and see if parts could get it that way.
  11. Got the above truck towed in crank no start. Found the throttle body stuck closed. No big deal went to parts to make an estimate and they say obsolete. Salvage yard we use doesn't have any. I removed t body pulled the plate out of it reinstalled. Test drove no ill effects. I know the t body is just for egr but am concerned about just saying it's ok this way. Anyone have experience with this?
  12. Does anyone have a parts list to do long block with fuel system
  13. Got a truck in customer had deleted now setting low fuel pressure code. The code isn't listed in 14 pced. The pid says 14 psi all the time plugged in or not doesn't change when resister plugged in. Called 1-800 number on the box from programmer dlc they told me kit works fine on 11-12 and 15-16 just 13-14 are problems. I said customer had a 14 when he ordered it from you. The year of the truck didn't change. They took my name and number said they would get back to me. I am not holding my breath. I think there program is for low pressure switch not low pressure sensor. Any one have experience with this.
  14. Check this out. ESI[truck] Off-Highway Upgrade Cable Kit with Introductory Software License | Bosch Diagnostics
  15. The site not working consistently was definitely causing me to not post when I would have otherwise. The site has been working great as of late. This is by far the best forum I look thru.
  16. Here is a picture of it. There is a retainer the metal washer you found a part of then o ring. (O ring blown out in picture)
  17. That's part of an injector d ring retaining washer. If u have ever done an aftermarket injector seal kit with top injector seal u have messed with them before. It's probably from an injector that's long been replaced.
  18. Your method worked for me also
  19. I haven't got truck back to try anything yet
  20. I have one that goes into a endless loop of trying to find part number and validating. Hotline and my fse said some got the wrong gpcm installed and its causing the ids to not like the part #. I have not gotten the truck back in to check the gpcm # yet.
  21. Its a schley products sch 16300 i emailed rttp and they can get it for $110
