F450 6.0 with egr cooler and oil cooler. 13 edge water pump. Transit bus with an egr cooler. Railroad F550 6.7 with garbage relative compression. 08 E450 ambulance for rear springs and 4 shocks. 15 F350 6.2 with a leaking trans pump. And that’s just what’s sitting at the dealership right now. Most of it’s been there a minimum of 2 weeks waiting.

Anytime a 7.3 has stalling issues that is the first thing that anyone does if throw a cam sensor at it. Even though I personally have never seen a gray one fail.

Look at pinpoint test J in the workshop manual. They call out pins in that plug there.

Unfortunately. He’s broken more shit than I care to remember since he started a month and a half ago. The latest is he put a wheel bearing in an 09 fusion that we keep around as a loaner and broke the knuckle cause he was trying to press the bearing out without taking the snap ring off. And then he didn’t put a cotter key back in the tie rod. The parts guy asked him about it and he claimed he reused the old one even though he never took it out and ran the nut past it.

Makes sense.

I saw those on del city too. I was wondering if they worked decent or not.

Aparrently he never backed off the nut to the proper torque. Made it till the next morning.

Wouldn’t you think that if you are hanging off the end of a 2 foot ratchet trying to loosen a wheel bearing nut you might stop and go look in the book to see if it’s LEFT HAND THREAD????????? New guy broke all 4 pegs off of the shop’s axle nut socket trying to take a left rear hub off a Transit.

Slow time of year by me means that I don’t have 2 weeks worth of week sitting out back waiting to be touched. And we still have way too much going on for the three of us to keep up.

Yup. Had one do it on a chassis cab during the road test after replacing the radiator. Just make sure the commanded duty cycle is at 0ish.

That’s what we have. I feel it works decent enough. But to each their own.

My opinion is I hate those things. I prefer the bare crimp barrels and heatshrink myself. But I will use the heatshrink crimpable connectors if I have to.

I don’t know about crap. I’ve had good luck with it on other stuff.

I heard about that too. I tried that on one that someone else was doing and I couldn’t get it to move. We have one of those things you bolt on and whack with the hammer and that won’t touch these things either.
