  1. I picked up a milwaukee 12 volt caulk gun today. I’ll let you guys know how it works with silicone once I get to use it.
  2. It’s making me think long and hard about making changes.
  3. I used to run snap-on cordless impacts till the old nicad batteries all died. Now we run milwaukee both at home and at work. Impacts are 18 volts in both 3/8 and 1/2. I’ve trashed 2 of the 3/8 ones already under warranty. I just recently bought the 1/4 ratchet and the 3/8 ratchet. I have enough batteries that charging isn’t an issue. I’m looking at a caulk gun as my next purchase. Sick of squeezing out silicone for oil pans and front covers.
  4. Yeah. What he says. Grab the block off tools and go to work. My guess is crap ipr since it’s intermittent. Just make sure the nut is tight on the ipr valve first. I think the block off plugs we have are that blackish color that otc used for everything. Other thing to remember is to check icp voltage not just pressure.
  5. Fusion hcu check and change fluid to dot 4.
  6. I really wanna know wtf Ford is thinking with this recall. No additions at all. No m-time at all. You break a bleeder it’s the customer’s problem.
  7. I found a Snap-on magnetic light wedged in between the core support and the body mount once on an 08 F350 from a local concrete company. I called their mechanic. He said he lost it over a year ago and it still worked once I charged it.
  8. Are you guys checking for excessive crankcase pressure when you do them? I had one come back less than 10k later and it was worse than before. I popped the oil cap off with it running and there was enough pressure there that it went pop when I did.
  9. I did this a couple of years ago on a gas motor in one. I replaced the motor and forgot to transfer the tone ring. I think I had an hour into installing it and i never even took the trans crossmember out.
  10. We got our first one. Drove it this morning. Not sold on the one pedal drive. But wow is it fast as heck off the line. Lots and lots of stuff to mess with on the big touch screen too.
  11. Ah. I understand now. I was assuming it was an external light.
  12. Can you just tap into the output circuit that would go to the pto clutch?
  13. Good luck to you. I hope everything works out well.
  14. Interesting. I would guess that it’s something to help keep the filter warm so that it don’t get plugged tight.
  15. I found out that Pro Logix makes the Mac charger. The local Napa had them on sale for $100. So I bought one from them.
  16. What is it? Other than a backordered Ford part.
  17. I am thinking about buying or trying to get my shop to buy a new battery charger/power maintainer for programming modules. Our 2 battery chargers we do have in the shop have seen better days. What is everyone else using? Or is there a mode in the battery charger/tester that Ford makes us have that I am no aware of?
  18. No idea. Only used their hub puller. Which is the cats ass for explorers.
  19. So pretty much it’s gonna be considered normal by Ford?
  20. That is on the vms software. I did not make it. If you open it and click on waveform library there is one for a 6.2. I’m assuming the top 2 are cam sensors and the bottom one is crank.
  21. I signed up last night. Didn’t say nothing about facebook. Nor does the flyer on fmcdealer.
  22. There’s a replaceable element???? Would be nice if they would tell us about this. We ordered the whole box. I guess I’ll look at it closer when I take it apart.
