  1. That's funny right there. Me and Shlep overhauled one today. We had a little trouble getting it apart LOL, but other than that not too bad. Got the old exchanger in the circulating varsol tank right now to see if we can get it to flow at all.
  2. Or just use the injector interrupt box. What does the smoke smell like? Oil? Fuel? Coolant?
  3. I have continental Conti-Trac T/R's on my 08 F350. Cupping, Loud. Started from the 1200KM mark. Fucking junk.

    Partsvoice rocks. I showed one of our parts guys at work, he was trying to see WHERE the USA stock was, and he wanted to know why the hell I had a subscription to that. LOL
  5. Something to this effect: Inspected as requested. Found RH mudflap loose. Removed mudflap from vehicle and inspected mounting surface integrity. Installed mudflap using aftermarket hardware and inspected alignment. Found alignment not within specifications, adjusted alignment as necessary. Re-checked alignment found within specifications. Road tested mudflap and re-inspected alignment after road test. Found alignment within specifications. Release vehicle to customer. Or something like this... It was a N/C mudflap install on a Tiremaster truck.

  10. ROFL! Well put. I usually find out if it has bittering agent or not when after draining the block and radiator, then removing the lower rad hose, that "extra gallon" of coolant that nobody can ever seem to drain out appears and soaks me from head to toe.
  11. DOH! Flat rate reading - I didn't read the year Mike. I can count on ZERO fingers how many 03 EGR coolers I've changed.
  12. Doesn't the gold antifreeze have a bittering agent in it?
  13. Oil cooler is plugged, and your coolant loss and white smoke may be a result of the EGR cooler taking a poop because the oil cooler was plugged. Spec is 15* if i remember rightly.

  15. It doesn't show some winkie actually doing it from what I saw, you just see the pages out of the shop manual and some really excellent 80's style special effects. That's all of the video I could stomach.
  16. Fuckin bedplate sealing surface looks like someone cut it with a fucking BAND SAW. Just use those cookie wheels to clean up head surfaces. The 80 grit ones.

  18. The only documentation I have seen on this is on the sheet with the plug o-rings, that has an arrow pointing to THAT plug with "DO NOT REMOVE THIS PLUG" underneath it.
  19. Do these things have wobbly crank trigger wheels sometimes, like a six-o? Edit: I'm not tryin' to be a wiseass, I've never worked on a 4.5
