  2. you mean remove and install in under half hour...right?!
  3. Really?! All our tool guys here will warranty our sockets when they get 'worn' out and start rounding of bolts.
  4. 5. Not at all!! For me to be able to explain why it's one way or the other, I need to have some understanding
  6. Engine theory question one of our ASSET apprentices asked me, and I'm not certain how to answer? Does an engine run rich or lean during warmup? Running lean definately runs hotter, but too lean will get NOx emmisions.
  7. Now that's some 'cool' black smoke!!
  8. 1 hour tops for a 6.4L rad, I'll do them all day I once did 4 in an afternoon....had 'em all lined up in my stall and the stall next to me I've never done one on a 6.7L though, we'll see with this campaign, I'm sure I'll see a few....
  9. This may be the understatement of the year!
  10. Seriously, I once had an early 2000's Isuzu NPR (tilt cab) that had a complaint of one dim head lamp, turns out the thing has separate fuses for left/right headlamps. Someone 'stole' one of the fuses and it was back feeding through the other side.
  11. It really narrow's it down when they add in "it's the WHITE Ford outside"....
  12. Evap case comes out in about 15 minutes, all the room you need after that
  13. Had the same issue with the oil filter on the ones I've done. Definitely caused by the addition of coolant to the oil.
  14. Correct, the diesel engine is MB, I've never seen a gasser, but that doesn't mean they're not out there.
  15. Has low compression on cylinders 8 and 2, cylinder 8 is just starting to melt and has scoring all the way around on the cylinder wall. Short block time.
  16. 2008 F550 LIMO BUS - P252F Need I say more?!
  17. Exactly what went through my mind as I was reading this announcement. An inline engine would be nice in a van....just sayin'
  18. And make sure to stand to the front of the truck when seperating and never to the passenger side....ask me how I know
  19. I never have a problem putting the old hoses back together, or even 2 new hoses, but if I just replace the hose from the front cover, they never seem to want to go together....I once fought one for a half hour, and then we decided it would be easier to replace the other one....slipped right in?!?!
  20. Do you use ULSD up there or are you still using the good stuff?
  21. Oh...of course it is, he's in Canada....Sorry for being retarded
  22. Blue smoke is oil burning, where's it coming from? if you clamp off the CCV(crank case vent) hose and the smoke goes away, then you know it is being caused by excessive blow by. if the smoke is still there with the CCV hose clamped of, then you are likely looking at a turbo seal issue.
