  1. Thanks. OnDemandPro's picture looks like it's in the wheel well, not the bumper.
  2. Currently nothing. Slowed right down. Waiting on a turbo for a 2015, 3-4 weeks at best.
  3. I'm trying to find the exact location of the DRL module, or daytime lighting control module, on a 2004 Nissan Altima SE 3.5L automatic. Mitchel Ondemand is useless. The internet is sketchy at best. Anyone here have better access to Nissan information that can help me out?
  4. Now the routine is 1: reprogram per TSB, return to customer, 2: comes back-same code, replace MAP sensor, return to customer, 3: comes back, same code, replace turbo.... Although there are no turbo's or pedistals available at the moment.
  5. Yes it is. This is the second one I have ever seen like this. Is this common on 2005's?
  6. 2014 F350 glowplug module communication fault. Found the connector for the removed NOX12 module full of green fuzz and shorting out the network. Disconnected C146 by the PCM and all is good again.
  7. Back up now. Faster than it's been for awhile. Maybe they got internet 150 installed over there now.
  8. Yup..we are down too. Thankfully I have a couple of old 6 litre's to work on and ProDemand is sufficient for now.
  9. Do you happen remember if the CEL came on in bulb check? I diagnosed no power to PCM and found the blown fuse in the parking lot. Proceeded to check wiring diagrams and unplugged the power feed to the engine harness, replaced the fuse and PCM powered up and engine cranks. At that point I pushed it in. Anyways it's fixed now. Found a loose waterpump bearing which is what caused the cooling fan to snag the wires.
  10. Been there, I spent almost 2 hours pushing this truck in and chasing an IPR wiring issue, didn't occur to me to look at the fan clutch wires even though I knew they were also on that circuit. Could have drove the truck in too.
  11. Now I see it. Couldn't make out the nuts at first. Did you at least catch it before putting it back together?
  12. Depending on the year, the back 2 studs on both sides are longer, and have a longer spacer. All the rest should be the shorter ones. If your parts guy ordered 16 studs, you most likely got 16 of the longer ones. which kind of sucks because you won't get the shields on if you use them. It's hard to make out the extra length in that picture without a reference.
  13. 2 6L no starts, one low ICP, the other has an electrical issue with the IPR circuit that is blowing the PCM power fuse. Edit: Turns out the fan clutch harness got caught in the fan blades and was shredded. After determining it wasn't the IPR and deciding it may have to get hot before it happened, I fired it up and heard the something rattling in the shroud. Glad I didn't put the IPR in.
  14. What are the symptoms for these? Are they turning on the MIL? My 2013 has had a thumping noise coming from the tank for quite awhile, No DTC's or other dirveability issues. It only happens when I open a door with the key off, Odd I know but the system turns the pump on when the interior light circuit is energized in anticipation of a start-up. I have no fuel pressure issues and no evap issues. Plus it gets worse as ambient temp increases.
  15. I have always found I got better results when I started to run the engine with the radiator drain removed from rad, and feed water into the degas for 5 minutes, before a complete drain and adding coolant. I have always felt that the oil and EGR coolers don't get properly flushed with just the hose pushing water through the engine.
  16. You would think he would be pleased to know there was a fix and that he wouldn't be stuck with a dead truck down the road. Is he buying something different from you, or going somewhere else? I can hear it now: Customer walks into Dodge dealer "Have you seen the new Ford's? They can't get them to leave the lot without having to take the engine out. HAHA! " Then again, if he doesn't trust the service department enough to make it look like the truck was never touched, you may not want that type of customer anyways. Fix the truck and sell it to someone else.
  17. We sell a few, have yet to see any mention of the recall.
  18. 7: Service advisors(I see a trend here), who will actually track down customers instead of just asking me to close out the work order because they haven't come in for a repair that was waiting for parts. IE; I have a Transit running around somewhere for the fuel system recall and some oil leaks, they somehow took the wrong phone number and won't bother to find the real one. I also have 2 others that need to come in because parts have arrived and they won't try to contact them either. They just wait for the customer to call. I know all 3 are busy working and have most likely forgotten.

  20. You could always see if you can go through your employer, maybe get a discount. As far as RAM goes, anything worth buying, even for a non-gaming laptop, will have at least 8GB. My home PC from Costco has 12GB and it was under $500. Lenovo is a very good brand, and they have awesome tech support.
  21. They must have read your post Keith.
