  1. Hahahaha looks like Aaron finally got his big block car
  2. Lets hope not but I fear you might be right....
  3. Funny you should mention that, I had the same straw like object in one not long ago. Hotline had no idea what I was talking about when I called in. Thinking a pattern might be starting to form here.
  4. Well Brad, when I did mine all I did was enter the tear tag number off my PCM and then checked for a updated calibration, and away it went.
  5. Hence why you need a blank FICM, seems they found a way to write protect it, or so it seems.
  6. It can be done but you'll need a blank FICM and an old copy of the IDS software, pre-56 I think it is, but it's not going to help the fuel milage issue that much.
  7. Presently a 06 F350 dually with a 6.0 and a 99 GMC dually with a 6.5 and they're both Black
  8. How about searching for a complete bed as a "take off" unit, a local shop got one in the spring for about 700 bucks complete.
  9. Comes with 2 of them, a 50 Amp and a 500 Amp.
  10. I too have never cut one, and like Keith, due to the main fact is I didn't read the WSM. Seen plenty that were cut, some nicely and others........ well lets just leave it at that
  11. Only one I have seen with this concern was grossly over-filled with oil. I drained at least 10gal. out of the crankcase as well as 4-5 qts out of the CAC it self. So I'd start there first.
  12. Thats too bad buddy, I've been meaning to stop out for a while now... guess I had better make it out soon and pitch a few helping hands in.
  13. Nope phone works... as long as I'm home lol As for the sitting on Lauzon at that time of the morning, thats easy there's a woman involved and I ask no questions
  14. I can confirm this, directly from Dave himself. He was pretty vague on the details but none the less he is no longer with Ford.
  15. I spend most of my awake time at work, when I'm not I plan on being out enjoying my 5th wheel with my dog, seeing as the kids are grown up (well as least they think so)and are starting to find things tehy like to do.
  16. Funny you should bring this up Jim, I just finished explaining to the powers that be... the very importance of being willing and able to "capture" the live data with the proper equipment. Seems I've been chasing the exact same concern on the exact same model, with exactly the same description. Turns out, as you noted the OSS would spike just as you mentioned and my readings were pretty darn close to what you have here. Now numerous recordings were made and others found nothing out of the ordinary... now when reviewing each frame it was plain as day. This is after we had 2 very unhappy customers and 4 different techs involved.
  17. Well I can imagine we'll find out fairly soon due to the amount of aftermarket tuners that will be pushing it to it's limits.
  18. Good luck with that Alex, I wish our's would take a hike but that isn't gonna happen any time soon.
  19. Thanks for the TSB Keith, I had someone asking about this just the other day.
  20. Thats a nice thing to come back to isn't it
  21. No, but proper service will help that. The roller issue doesn't exsist just on the 6.0, I've had plenty of failures on all of the big 3's engines.
