  1. I would have to say that it is due to the length of pulse width that they use for the inductive heating strategy when the key is first turned on or something like that. Then when during the click test, there would be less pulse width to simply just click the injectors. Just my thoughts. Who knows, I could be wrong. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif
  2. Is it just me or does anyone else ever wonder why SLTS even exists with these fargin things? Man there is a TSB for almost everything. Looking at the SLTS times is just like a fargin cock tease already. It's frickin useless.
  3. We still have one of those Rotunda Black lites. It is awsome. We also have that Snap-on piece of crap that hooks up to the battery and you use those ugly yellow old fogey goggles and I must say it is one of the most useless pieces of wasted engineering I have ever seen. I agree Jim, I have changed very few rear main seals on these engines since the Powerstroke was first released. I can probably count the amount on one hand.
  4. Man Alex, it ticks me off daily. Especially out here in Alberta where it seems that everyone but myself has so much money that they just don't give a damn. I see big monster diesel 4X4's with anything from a four to twelve inch cock pump (lift kit) jacked up on roids (performance chip) belching black smoke at a buck fourty (87mph) to SUV's blowing by me like I don't exist. And then you have to deal with these retards comin in and complaining about the piss poor fuel economy they are getting. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banghead.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/boink3.gif Why I outa...... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/boink3.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif Anywho's, I here what your sayin.
  5. Cool, gotta like Will, He is a crazy MO-Fo. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbup.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/hammer2.gif. And I will be refering to Beercon 5 Automatic technician fluid from now on. Gotta like it.
  6. What is that? Is it any good? you got some? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif Oh, and who the hell is that picture of in your avatar? I keep gettin a beat in my head every time I see it.
  7. Well......I would assume that if you are going to play with fire, you will eventually get burnt /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/flamethrower.gif . Don't ask me what I'm talking about, I,m just throwin sh!t out there and havin a good time flushin my day away /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/drinkingdude.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/drinkingdude.gif
  8. I'd be doin the Head gasket diag for this unit. I smell a leaker. Just my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/2cents.gif again. And like jeff said, drillin a hole in the cat is also a good way to find out if coolant is goin out the exhaust. I have done this myself.
  9. Over the years I have cut apart many oil filters to compare them to Motorcraft filters and used them as displays at our parts counters. Fram filters are absolute garbage. Like Bruce, I have had fram filters take out customer engines. I have seen them colapse. In fact I see them coming out of Sicko's all the time shaped like an hour glass. the centres suck right in. I wouldn't use a Fram filter to run coffee through it if it were the only damn thing left on earth to filter coffee. I'd rather chew the coffee. By the way, great video. I,m gonna load it on our front parts computer so the parts guys can show customers.
  10. You guys down there get paid .3 for phoning Hotline? How long has it been like this? We get JACK SH!T!
  11. Antisieze for me. Can't beat that nicle plate antisieze.
  12. I saw that on the news Larry. I call for the death penalty. An eye for and eye. Just my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/2cents.gif .But like they will ever find the arsholes. Or have they found these tards?
  13. I'm hoping they just revise the tsb rather than come out with a recall. I can only imagine what they would pay us then.
  14. Well, It's been fours weaks now and the system runs flawlessly.
  15. I personally believe that it's just crappy manufacturing an p!ss poor quality. We have issues with the aft axle tanks up here having rust in them as well. And I agree with what you said. What was wrong with galvanized or even plastic for that matter? Hell, they use plastic for the front tanks and no problems there. Maybe Ford should get the front tank engineer to engineer the rear tank, Hugh?
  16. Aside from all the other Sick Litre sicknesses? I don't know if it is even possible that it would make the engine run any worse. Just kiddin.
  17. Straight up on the rocks may also be more to Jim's standards. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif I myself like Irish cream fresh out of the freazer especially in the winter. MMMMMMMMMMM Mothers Milk. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif Warms the blood quite nicely.
  18. +1 here for leave the cab alone on a 7.3L. If it were a Sick-O or 6.4L I would say definately, but in this case forget it.
  19. Yeah that was pretty close to how bad it moved around.
  20. The one I had, was bouncing the harmonic ballancer so bad that the tensioner was rattling like crazy. It sounded like it was going to fly apart.
  21. Sorry for replyin late Keith. I had the unfortunate opportunity of putting a crank in it. They stock cranks in our Edmonton warehouse if that says anything. And I lost my ass on that job. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crybaby2.gif Have you measured or checked anything out yet?
  22. Just don't tell your customers that it can be disabled.
  23. Yep. Check the front crankshaft snout for runout Keith. Max is .002". I had one that was 004" and cracked the front oil pump cover. Tech hotline knows of this concern and they say that in most cases when the snout is bent, the front seal will walk out of the oil pump cover.
