  1. Sounds like the Ontario Certificate of Qualification exam...
  2. Nitrous is a gas, but I'd rather be BLOWN!! And fuggit, I'd hammer nitrous on ANYTHING. I'd spray my lawnmower, if it had enough fuel pressure.

AH! Now THAT, I have used before. As for the job at hand (FRP sensor) - no fun, ever. Just my .02
  4. Actually Ford now tells you to slather the guts of the turbo in Anti-Sieze. You're supposed to poop up the turbine housing, and both sides of the unison ring, and some other shit, too. Was trying to explain why I needed anti-sieze today. I've done a few with anti-seize, and never noticed any smoke.
  5. Was just about to say "And why the FUCK would anyone want to do that?!"
  6. Was gonna say, sounds to me like a valve didn't open when it was told to. Bad valve. BAD!
  7. Ha. There is NOW. OPP took this over from Amherstburg police in the spring, and them fuckers are EVERYWHERE. And it was a mid throttle toot, it just had no exhaust on it, and everyone got ALL fuckin' bent out of shape. Plated, and insured, and everything. Sheesh.
  8. I'd think no, but how much antiseize are we talking here? I'd think if it smoked at all, it'd be for a very limited amount of time...but that shit is supposed to withstand obnoxious heat... (And can I ask why?)
  9. Kinda like the line in my signature on here? That was their fix a couple years ago for this problem. See below \/

Gasket - Rocker Arm Cover (6584/6K260) - Remove and Install or Replace - 6.4L DI T....RIGHT 6584AR 1.8 Hm. I can't find an opcode for the sensor - anyone got an opcode for that one?

What's a sneeky pete? I know it's a nitrous kit I used to have on my old car. The bottle was TINY and you could fit the solenoids inside the air cleaner, and run the feed line through the "brake booster hose" into the bottom of the air cleaner housing. But yeah, claim R&I valve cover and then changing the sensor. Failing that, MT the piss outta that badboy.
  12. We don't have ASE requirements here. But you do need a provincial ticket to fix cars. And a different one to fix trucks. And a different one to fix farm equipment. And a different one to fix Diesel Engines.
  13. "Just leave the wheels off and it up on the hoist, he's going to come and put the swaybar endlinks on himself." "Um, actually...no...he ain't."
  14. Actually...it doesn't work very well without a door. http://www.tomsguide.com/us/man-sells-oven-door-hdtv,news-4443.html
  15. What's in it for me? Voted, man. Cute little pooch you got there
  16. Yet a guy takes his racecar up the street for a quick toot, and gets hung out to dry.
  17. Yeah, or if any of the trucks even have the speed limiter on 'em...I got passed at 130 on the weekend... Just like they enforce everything else, I guess.
  18. Guy's never heard of reachin' for park, or using the parking brake? LOL Gotta love rocketing across the shop backwards in something the last guy didn't pump the brakes on. You only do it once though, every car I get into gets the brake pedal leaned on before I even start it. I managed to snake my way through a busy parking lot while pumping the brake and not hitting anything, when it happened to me some years back.
  19. Not at 75mph in Ontario Apparently trucks are governed at 65mph (105km/h) in Ontario.
  20. This is a good idea....for the mechanic to drive the truck into the shop from the parking lot after it's been towed in....
  21. This is true. I also would likely just comment. "Neat." And move along.
  22. Is that all there is written on it?
