ROFL Racecar part...need a degassing bottle that will hang off the fender and cowl support, and the Econoline bottle fit the bill just perfectly, right down to the two outlets on the top for return from the motor. It's an LT1 in a full size (Think Impala SS) sedan. Was trying to explain how it was mounted to a buddy, and since i very very seldom work on Econolines now, I couldn't get a picture.

Trans pan says TORQSHIFT 6 on it, if you rotate your screen. Oil filter in the basement again, too! President of Ford Canada told me today when we were getting the President's award that that motor is supposed to get 20MPG

Might as well have been. Kitty litter/floor dry to sop up the oil that had been WELL north of 350 degrees, and was stinking up the entire place.

I've never tried it - so I don't have LOTS of input. Just kinda theoretically, what I thought would happen - but from someone that's actually been TOLD to do it by the engine manufacturer. Thank you for your input sir!

I just talked to him also. He didn't say anything about intake gaskets to me. You mean, the old gaskets? Or a new set with the hose and the cooler gaskets and shit?
