  1. Oh shit...i never thought of that "Yeaaaap. My 6.4 'stroke gets almost 42MPG!" "Send $5 and a SASE, and I will mail you the instructions!"
  2. When you reset the MPG counter, then coast up to a light....neat stuff happens
  3. Well, i looked at the napa canada site, and it doesnt show up. I'll have to get them on the phone later when i get rid of the dry mouth. HOWEVER - I did find this: http://www.napaonlinecanada.com/uap/Client/en/Napa-Online/guideconseils/guideconseils.asp?id=128 Good fuckin idea. I don't know how to do this myself, so I'll get it from the INTERNETS! Use RAMPS?! How are you supposed to get the wheel off when the car's on RAMPS. Because, as we all know: Whoo...Sorry about that guys, little out of control today.
  4. Wait...that's not an oil analysis part number? The booze is still wearing off, so bear with me. I buy my oil/fuel filters from Murray's or Otterzone in Detroit. Motorcraft filters, for $15-20 cheaper than I can get 'em for here, INLCUDING the exchange.
  5. Bruce - is that a good NAPA part number for Canada, too? I would like to see exactly how much diesel fuel my truck has in it's oil.
  6. Bed plate reseal is an unnecessary repair, as replacement of the engine block has been performed. CLAIM DENIED.
  7. From what an earlier post in this thread indicated, you can reflash it just like a regular truck. Check on page 1 or 2. I would think if the cal doesn't match properly, it'd give you a message.... or a Testman error, at least
  8. Man, I had to read that a couple times. Flat rate reading makes you think its an actual FSA .... WELL WRITTEN! Now we just need to get it on Ford FSA letterhead
  9. Ford won't shovel any parts over that ain't in a Ford box. Even if it's in an international box inside...lol
  10. Is this a superseded version of TSB 07-8-9?
  11. Last one I did, I cut the silicone with an old EGR cooler gasket (between up-pipe and cooler) folded on a 90* angle. Worked pretty good.
  12. Hey fellas, I'm trying to help out a hot-rod buddy of mine, he's got a real high compression car that continually is spitting out the degas bottle. I want to try that new designed 6.0 rad cap for his situation, but I can't find the part number. Thanks in advance
  13. Apparently it retains water? Hard to say. There really is no documentation about it - it just says "replace with designed part". Side by side on the floor, there is no apparent difference.
  14. Don't think necessarily that it's due to the TSB requiring use of this part, the part has been updated to eliminate this concern with all replacement coolers.
  15. There's a TSB for the charge air cooler, there's an updated design that supposedly eliminates a smoking concern after a steady state cruise. TSB is 08-25-1 And the other issue, I've seen a couple of them. It tells you in teh WSM under changing the crank seal procedure to measure the runout of the balancer, not sure about thrust play, off the top of my head, and I can't get onto the Inford site right now.
  16. Warranty Administration tab Warranty Action Notices tab Archives tab Admin/Other Notices tab Article 11-C, Page 18/27 I don't know if this will work for you, or not, but try this: https://www.inford.dealerconnection.com/parts_service/showfile.asp?id=3579 Hope this helps.
  17. It's in the Warranty and Policy manual: Quote: Stationary Power Source- Calculating Warranty Limits Article 11-C During warranty reviews it has been discovered that when a vehicle is being used as a stationary power source no consideration is being given to the amount of time the vehicle spends operating in this mode. As per warranty & policy 3B-33 one hour of use as a stationary power source equals 55km for the purpose of calculating warranty coverage limits. Since most of our vehicles do not have factory-installed hour meters it may make determining this factor more difficult however, this point should still be reviewed.
  18. +1 Your child seat is either sitting the sideways on the seat, or laying down on the seat, so you CLEARLY know that it's not installed in the vehicle properly, if I've had it out.
  19. I don't think you're allowed to get tired of Clint Eastwood movies, and keep your man card Have you seen Gran Torino yet? AWESOME.
  20. Called warranty hotline and asked. Was advised 1hr is 55km, so divide 160,000km by 55 = 2909.09090909..... This is what they told me to do to figure it out.
